The Challenge: Routine and Risk of Errors
The law firm spent significant resources on preparing standard documents (contracts, acts, statements of claim) and controlling the execution of tasks in court cases. Manual data copying from one case to another led to errors and required constant verification.
The Solution: Process Builder + Automation
We used a combined approach based on Planfix and Make.com.
- Systematization in Planfix: We created a unified case database, where each case is a separate project. We configured custom fields for all necessary information (parties, subject of the dispute, courts, etc.).
- Document Templates: We prepared templates for all standard documents in Google Docs using variables.
- Automation Scenario in Make.com: We created a scenario that, at the click of a button in Planfix, takes data from the case card, inserts it into the corresponding Google Docs template, creates a PDF document, and saves it back to the case card. Results
Automation allowed lawyers to focus on legal work rather than administration. The manager got a clear picture of all cases and the team's workload. The risk of mechanical errors in documents was minimized.
